What Does Frostbite On A Dogs Paw Look Like Dog Licking Paws Constantly---frostbite?

Dog licking paws constantly---frostbite? - what does frostbite on a dogs paw look like

Last Saturday I took my dog (10 lb Pomerania) with me to make a racket. Finally, we have one hours waiting with all our warm clothes on my friend to appear. Finally, we had to walk the route which is about 1 / 3 miles.
Is on the way to fall my dog one of his feet - doggie boots - because he could not say no one cares began, I took them all. But when we arrived at the track, I began to fear that their feet to eat ice cream when my boots in the snow. So I decided to go home. I took a little place, then the boots for the rest. He immediately went home and stayed with him for the rest of the day.
But it seems that since then has been obsessively lick their paws. There was once before, when a leghave something to irritate her dew claws. The pads of the feet look normal, no swelling or cracking.
And when the keeper that I'm paranoid, I'm afraid that he will receive a sunburn. How do I know what happened?

You're not paranoid, but I would call your vet and have checked out. I'm not sure if the pads change color of a dog that has been damaged by cold, but better safe than sorry. Problem can also be a tension - in this case, it is also worth a visit to the vet. POMS are active dogs and if they are bored, self-mutilation. If what you do, you need to find somethng to do not take your dog to agility, obedience, tricks training class, etc. Good luck!
